I was hired by Ashley Hutter to redesign her business/appointment card. I decided to keep the colors from her last card, but I changed the layout of the front and the back. Her only requirement was that it had to look "relaxing." I think I did my best in portraying that feel with the color scheme, minimalist layout, and stock photo that I chose. I created the layout in Adobe InDesign and I edited the photo in Adobe Photoshop.

These 4" x 6" Milkman Postcards were ordered by the parent company Marron Foods for use in trade shows. I used Adobe Photoshop to isolate the sample photo and remove the white background from the original photo. I did the layout design in Adobe InDesign.
I wanted the focus of the design to be on the free samples, so that is why I chose to keep the sample photos as one of the main points of the card. And the word "Free" was the next important thing. So that is why I put it on its own line and in a different font to grab the reader's attention. The backside of the card I kept consistent with the rest of the Milkman marketing materials.

Christine Gutknect hired me to create a product brochure for the Young Living Essential Oils products that she sells at vendor shows. I used the main color of her branding, purple, as the dominant color of the brochure. For the layout, I decided on keeping the sections on their dedicated panels of the tri-fold brochure. This comes off as a very clean design. I created the layout in Adobe InDesign and edited the photos in Adobe Photoshop.

This 18" x 42" vinyl banner was ordered by Tri Star, an engine manufacturer. I have been hired to create many of their sales and marketing pieces, but this is one of my favorites. I referenced a flyer that I printed for them in the past as inspiration for the font choice and the background design. The main goal of this banner was to bring attention to the Dyno and Go series of engines, which is why I chose the bright red, white, and blue colors. Along with an interesting display font. I created this banner layout in Adobe InDesign and I removed the backgrounds from the engine photos in Adobe Photoshop.

I am very proud of these custom pieces that I have created in my free time. That is why they have been featured in multiple places on this website.
I was inspired by a "Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits" poster to create these two art pieces that are similar to the bright colored and patterned style of the inspiration. For the design process, I used two different references for the silhouettes, and I used the pen tool to create them. To create the custom pattern, I started with an original shape and I built the pattern with the pathfinder tools in Adobe Illustrator. I created these graphics as a personal project.
All of these pieces and more are featured in my full portfolio.
